Demonstrating the positive value of psychological therapy and care with a focus on fulfilling individual needs.
The High View approach is truly personalized, recognizing each person referred to us has a unique set of presentations. We specialize in assessing, caring for and rehabilitating adults aged 18-65 with brain injury and co-morbid diagnoses often related to alcohol or substance misuse, mental health, challenging behaviour, and other complex needs.
Holistic and therapeutically focused interventions are implemented in a CQC registered residential setting by our team of professional social workers and neuropsychologists following a multidisciplinary assessment of the client.
Short and longer-term placements are accepted across our group of small home, each one tailored to specific client presentations or gender. Clients benefit from support and rehabilitation plans reviewed and assessed monthly to ensure SMART objectives and personal goals develop to match each client’s progress and evolving functional and cognitive aspirations. We create the environment for building a positive therapeutic relationship between the clients their Key Worker and Neuro-Rehabilitation Coaches. High View also works with families, other professionals and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes and tangible progress cost-effectively.
Clients who transition from High View to live more independently can continue to access psychological support through High View Outreach Neuro-Rehabilitation (HVON) where the Neuro-rehabilitation Coaches will be able to work with the client to sustain the improvements achieved in the residential setting.
